Description

Reliable reference for durometer verification

Developed by TQC Sheen, a specialist in paint and coating testing, the Shore Hardness Test Block Kit ensures your durometer is providing accurate readings. Each block represents a specific hardness value, enabling quick verification of instrument performance and reducing the risk of incorrect hardness measurements.

Two kit options for Durometer A and D

  • Durometer A kit: Includes 7 test blocks (30–90 Shore A) for applications such as plastics, polymers, coatings, and elastomers.
  • Durometer D kit: Includes 3 test blocks (60, 75, 85 Shore D), suitable for harder plastics and rubbers.

Both kits come in a protective custom-made carrying case with an included calibration certificate. Each block is engraved with a unique serial number for traceability.

Stable materials, trusted performance

The blocks are manufactured from dimensionally stable materials, providing consistent reference values over time. To maintain precision, annual calibration verification is recommended. This ensures long-term reliability in laboratory, production, and quality control environments.
