TQC Sheen Defelsko Coating Thickness Gauge PosiTector 6000 (without probe)

Manufactured by our TQC Sheen brand in partnership with DeFelsko, the PosiTector 6000 Coating Thickness Gauge is built for fast, precise Thickness Testing using magnetic and eddy current principles. It measures coatings on ferrous materials like steel and cast iron, as well as non-ferrous substrates such as aluminum and copper – the gauge automatically recognizes the substrate and takes measurements accordingly, so operators do not need to configure the mode themselves. 

Used by paints and coatings QC laboratories verifying dry film thickness against specification, and industrial coating applicators checking coverage on paint, powder coatings, galvanizing, anodizing and plating during and after application, the gauge is ready to use directly out of the box. Enhanced one-handed menu navigation and a flashing display keep it usable in busy or noisy production environments, and the gauge is weatherproof and resistant to certain solvents, acids, oils, water and dust for on-site inspection work. 

Both the Standard and Advanced models offer durability, accuracy and ease of use. The Advanced model adds a high-contrast reversible color touchscreen display, onscreen help, real-time graphing, picture prompting, batch note capability and compliance modes for SSPC-PA2, ISO 19840 and PSPC 90/10, with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity for wireless data transfer.
