    United’s Puncture Resistance Fixture is ideal for testing the puncture resistance of a variety of materials including plastic film, fabric, thin rubber membranes and similar material. The fixture is pneumatically operated making sample loading quicker and easier. Fixtures can be custom designed with a variety of opening diameters and probe sizes. Common test applications include ASTM D3787, ASTM D4833, ASTM F1306 and ASTM D5748

    Variations:  Many varirations of the Puncture Resistance fixture are avaialable and they are quoted based on the specific standard being tested

    Standard:  ASTM D5748

    Clamping:  Pneumatic clamping operation

    Switch:  Foot switch

    Hole:  4″ dia. hole

    Area:  up to 6″ X 6″ clamping area

    Probe:  has integral QRLM- adapter built in

    Bottom of fixture:  has 1-14 female threads

    Adapters:  not included, available separately

    Use with:  (1x) QRLM-1-14-M
