Available in both Certified and Non-Certified options, the shims are designed for use on ferrous and non-ferrous substrates. Certified Plastic Shims come with a Certificate of Calibration traceable to NIST or PTB, offering ±2 µm accuracy for precision-critical environments. Non-Certified Plastic Shims offer a cost-effective option for operational checks and training, with labeled tolerances from ±5% to ±20%.

Ideal for laboratories, production lines, and field testing, plastic shims are compatible with all Type 2 electronic magnetic, eddy-current, and ultrasonic coating thickness gages. Each shim is color-coded, labeled in both Metric and Imperial units, and measures approximately 3 x 8 cm (1 x 3 inches).
