SPG Surface Profile Probe for PosiTector 6000
With the new Surface Profile probe you can use the body of the PosiTector 6000 as a SPG Surface Profile Gauge.
The SPG Surface Profile probe measures and records peak to valley surface profile heights.
Conforms to ASTM D4417-B, AS 3894.5-C (with optional 30° tip angle), U.S. Navy NSI 009-32, SANS 5772 and others.
All PosiTector 6000 probes can be used with the PosiTector SmartLink; a small piece of hardware that physically connects to new and existing PosiTector probes and wirelessly connects to a free PosiTector app, turning it into a virtual PosiTector gauge. You will find the Smart Link device under ‘accessories’.

The TQC Sheen PosiTector 6000 Coating Thickness Gauge is a rugged, weatherproof gauge built for paints and coatings QC laboratories and industrial coating applicators who need reliable readings in busy production environments or harsh field conditions. Using magnetic and eddy current principles, it automatically recognizes ferrous substrates (steel, cast iron) and non-ferrous substrates (aluminum, copper) and measures coating thickness accordingly - no manual substrate selection required. Choose the Standard model for everyday thickness verification, or the Advanced model for compliance-mode measurement, batch data management and wireless connectivity.
