Introducing ISO 32 – Industrial Physics

ISO 32 is an international ISO testing standard that’s used to identify gas cylinders for medical use.

This ISO test approach to gas cylinder testing establishes a marking system, plus a series of colors that can be used for swift and accurate identification. In the case of gas mixtures, the cylinder has a color – visible at the valve end – denoting what gasses are contained.

It includes all the necessary equipment to execute a bresle test that will indicate the contamination of soluble salts on blast-cleaned surfaces prior to coating. A conductivity gauge is used to assess and categorize the soluble salt ions as chlorides, sulphates and nitrates.
