Standards
GOST 6592 is a GOST testing standard to inspect printing paints and determine how the paint will adhere to paper.
The GOST series of international technical standards is maintained by the Euro-Asian Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (EASC). This is a regional standards organization operating under the auspices of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
So, how can Industrial Physics improve your GOST 6592 testing?
We make a number of products that can be used to support your GOST 6592 paint testing, such as:
TQC Sheen Grindometers
TQC Grindometer FM15/2 DIN-ISO Grindometers or Fineness of Grind Gauges are precision instruments to determine particle size and fineness of many materials like paints, lacquers, pigments, filler or even chocolate!
Most TQC Sheen Grindometers have double grooves with graded slopes graduated in three different parameters: µm (microns), NS (Hegman) and PCU (North). Our gauge and beveled scrapers are made of hardened stainless steel and have an accuracy of 2 µm.

We make a range of scrapers that can be used to support your GOST 6592 inspections and which support thickness testing and viscosity testing.
We’ve learnt a thing or two about paint testing over the decades. Now Industrial Physics is recognized as a brand that likes to bring new, innovative paint testing equipment to market.
We like to share our knowledge and we’re here to help you to answer your questions about paint testing. Across the knowledgebase section of our website we publish lots of blogs on related subjects
For example, there’s our advice on how to perform a pigment test. Then we recommend you read this blog on how to assess the quality of car paints.

Your global test and measurement partner for GOST 6592
TQC Sheen Grindometers measure the particle size and fineness of grind in paints, inks, pigments, and coatings, helping coatings laboratories, ink producers, and R&D teams confirm dispersion quality before a batch moves on. Available in single, double, and wide-groove models with ranges from 0-15 µm to 0-500 µm and 2 µm accuracy.
