DIN EN 14022

This standard specifies means of determining in appropriate ways the variable property of multicomponent adhesives known alternatively as useable working life and pot life. It specifies 5 methods for the determination of the time available for use, each of which is related to specific circumstances; particularly important being the rheology of the adhesive concerned and its rate of reaction. The test standard addresses the adhesive manufacturers, users of multicomponent adhesives and independent test laboratories. At DIN the responsible Committee is NA 062-04-55 AA "Prüfung von Konstruktionsklebstoffen, -klebverbindungen und Kernverbunden" ("Testing of structural adhesives, structural adhesive bondings and sandwiches").
