ASTM F2497 is a global ASTM international standard method to measure the abrasion and scuff resistance of unprinted inkjet media using a scrub resistance tester.

This ASTM test approach gives you the means to control the quality and clarity of the labels you use on your products. Which is an important step as your labels provide all of the necessary information for your customers to interact with - and be attracted to - purchasing your goods.   

If you send your products out with scuffed labels due to wear and tear through the supply chain, or in storage, then your customers will choose a competitor.

• Dry rub (the amount of transfer ink from one dry surface to another)
