This Weight Set (ISO 1518) is designed for both the TQC Sheen Automatic Scratch Tester or TQC Sheen Mechanized Scratch Test Tester,
The set includes weights in varying increments of 0.5 N, ranging from 0.5 N to 10 N, enabling precise load control for scratch testing of coatings and materials.
This set helps evaluate coating durability under controlled conditions by applying incremental weights to the stylus arm, simulating real-world scratching. It is ideal for use with standard metal test panels but can also be used with non-metal plates, provided the registration is visually observed.
Additional weights, up to a maximum of 10 kg, are available for testing harder coatings, ensuring versatility and accuracy in testing.
