Brought to you by TQC Sheen, our specialist testing brand, we can offer a range of viscosity cups for paint and specifically for ISO 2431.
Our range of Viscosity Cups for ISO 2431 are titanium anodized aluminum cups with a fixed stainless-steel nozzle. This laboratory type cup is to be used with a stand and can be used to measure the viscosity of lacquers, paint, and other liquids.
They are also designed according to DIN, EN, ISO 2431.
The TQC Sheen Viscosity Cup ISO 2431 has five fixed nozzle, orifice options being:
• Ø 3 mm
• Ø 4 mm
• Ø 5 mm
• Ø 6 mm
• Ø 8 mm
Every cup is provided with a unique engraved serial number and supplied with a factory certificate. Additionally, there is also the option for certification by calibration with certified oils, which is available upon request.
Our range of laboratory type viscosity cups are relied upon by customers across a wide range of sectors and for a number of different applications including the inks and coatings sector, the beverage sector and within the food industry.
The process of flow through an orifice can often be used as a relative measurement and classification of viscosity. This measured kinematic viscosity is generally expressed in seconds of flow time, which can be converted into Centistokes using a viscosity conversion disc. We can offer a Viscosity Conversion Disc here to help with these viscosity conversions.
You’ll find helpful viscosity testing insight throughout the knowledgebase section of our website where we publish articles exploring all manner of related subjects.
For instance, you can explore our blog on how to measure viscosity. Then you can explore our helpful viscosity calculator, as well as our viscosity conversion table.
The TQC Sheen Digital Stopwatch is an accurate and reliable stopwatch, with a clear display, large digits, split times and a resolution to 1/100th of a second.
Our TQC Sheen Ring Stand for Viscosity Cups is a solid stainless steel ring stand to support your viscosity cups.
Our TQC Sheen Tripod Stand for Viscosity Cups is a stainless steel viscosity testing stand that’s suitable for ASTM, DIN, AFNOR, and ISO laboratory viscosity cups.
Our wide range offering high-quality Viscosity Calibration Oils are designed for precise calibration of viscosity measurement instruments. Manufactured according to ASTM D2162, they ensure accurate and repeatable viscosity testing, fully traceable to national standards and dual UKAS certified (ISO 17025 & ISO 17034).
The TQC Sheen Viscosity Conversion disc is an easy-to-use conversion table to compare the viscosity (in Cst) to the flow time of different viscosity cups.
