The dip/immersion type viscosity cups like our Zahn cups are designed to measure coatings and other fluids during application or production.
The process of flow through an orifice can often be used as a relative measurement and classification of viscosity. This measured kinematic viscosity is generally expressed in seconds of flow time, which can be converted into Centistokes using a viscosity disc calculator.

Each of our dip/immersion viscosity Zahn cups comes with a long loop handle. This helpful immersion cup style enables you to dip the cup by hand into a liquid container. So, it’s easy to quickly check and adjust the viscosity of many different types of liquid.
