TQC Sheen Viscosity Calibration Oils – 442 Series

TQC Sheen’s 442 Series Viscosity Calibration Oils (also known as viscosity standards) are designed to calibrate and verify the accuracy of a variety of viscosity measurement equipment—such as viscosity cups, glass capillary viscometers, and rotational or automatic viscometers. This series offers a detailed calibration range with more temperature points than standard ranges, enabling high precision calibration under varying conditions.

Whether used in laboratories or production environments, the viscosity calibration oils provide a dependable solution for maintaining the accuracy of viscosity measurement instruments. 

Viscosity Calibration Oil Certification

Each oil in the 442 Series is calibrated in accordance with ASTM D2162 and provided with a certificate that includes traceable measurements of kinematic and dynamic viscosity, as well as specific gravity, across a detailed temperature range. The certificate also confirms a three-year shelf life, as long as storage conditions are met (sealed and between 15°C–30°C). The certificate includes interpolated values, providing richer data than standard certificates.

Note: While Krebs Unit (KU) values are shown for select oils below, they are not included on the certificate and are calculated manually. KU values can only be calculated for six specific types within this range.
