Outside of our normal range of Quadruplex Applicators, we are proud to be able to offer custom-sided applicators, whether that is single gap or four-sided bird applicators. These can be ordered to meet the sizes you require and support your specific coating testing needs. Just request a quotation or ask for more information, and we’ll be happy to quote this for you.

Quadruple your applicator power

The TQC Sheen Quadruplex 4-Sided Applicators have four application sides. This is so you can apply paint films with four different predefined thicknesses and a film width of either 60mm or 80mm.  

One side of the four-sided applicator features optional guidance support to help you to achieve straight application, plus it comes with a convenient built-in sample reservoir.

Because it’s crafted with robust and durable high grade stainless steel, your film applicator can be relied upon, test after test. It won’t be affected by acid or base elements, it’s quick to clean and comes with a calibration certificate and protective case.

We have a film applicator for every test – whether you’re working with test charts, panels, or foils. All of our film applicators offer accurate and repeatable results, whatever you need them for. Whether it’s drying testing, thickness testing, or abrasion testing, our film applicators allow you to carry out a number of tests while adhering to a wealth of industry testing standards.  

Some of the options we have include our TQC Sheen bird-type film applicators (four sided) which are suitable for applying a host of different products onto flat and relatively solid substrates. It gives you a reliable and repeatable basis to apply coating and paint films to test charts, panels or foils. Our versatile film applicator is suitable for charts up to A4 size and the application speed can be set from one to 150 mm/s.
