The bird applicator is also known as the prism film applicator and is available in various film widths, so it is used for many different types of sample sizes.
Our range of bird-type film applicators includes a variety of models, from one-sided/single gap options through to a range of four-sided/four-gap options. All are made from high grade materials, so they are built to last and with extreme care – providing accuracy levels of +/- 2 µm.
Because it’s crafted with robust and durable high-grade stainless steel, your bird-type film applicator can be relied upon, test after test. It won’t be affected by acid or base elements, it’s quick to clean and comes with a calibration certificate and protective case.
