Torus Z339 Manual Back End Finished Can Gauge

The Torus Z339 Manual Back End Finished Can Gauge ensures precise dimensional measurement for necked beverage cans, offering repeatability and accuracy.

Description

Reliable and Accurate Back End Can Inspection

Brought to you by Torus, our specialist testing brand, the Z339 Manual Back End Finished Can Gauge provides fast and reliable measurement of key features in necked beverage cans.

Designed for easy operation, it ensures high-quality control standards while minimizing inspection time. The system is engineered to maintain measurement consistency with the Z302 automatic inspection system by utilizing common instrumentation and principles.

Precision in Every Measurement

The Z339 allows operators to manually position finished cans within the system, where a high-accuracy contact gauge determines critical dimensional parameters. By eliminating operator subjectivity, the gauge enhances repeatability and ensures reliable quality control. This system is designed to measure essential features, including Finished Can Height, Internal Neck Diameter, and Flange Width.

Measurement Features of the Z339 Back End Finished Can Gauge

  • Finished Can Height | Accuracy: ± 0.01 mm
  • Flange Width | Accuracy: ± 0.01 mm
  • Internal Neck Diameter | Accuracy: ± 0.01 m

Convenient Operation

Each component is manually loaded by the operator and oriented to the required position for measurement. All features are simultaneously checked at each position, allowing a typical can inspection in under 30 seconds.

The Z339 is also available as a floor-standing semi-automatic or fully automatic in-line option to meet different production needs.

Advanced Technology

Part of Industrial Physics’ comprehensive can inspection portfolio, the Z339 leverages precise contact measurement technology to improve production quality. Its robust design and easy manual operation make it an ideal solution for manufacturers requiring cost-effective, accurate, and repeatable measurement solutions.
