With the Ray-Ran test sample injection molding press you can produce flawless laboratory test samples including color plaques, tensile and impact test specimens and small components for mechanical testing procedures.
Our unique, low-cost small plastic injection molding machine is ideal for research and development, institutes, universities, laboratories and workshops.
Pneumatically operated with inlet air pressures up to 10 bar (150psi), this reliable and robust molding press machine will mold most materials including polypropylene, polyethylene and PET with injection pressures up to 450 bar (6500 psi).
When the heat is on and you need the perfect polymer samples fast, you can rely on the Ray Ran small injection molding machine. The digital temperature controls deliver up to 400˚C temperatures to melt polymers, which are then swiftly extruded into the mold. It also features digital tool block heating to optimize the polymer flow into the mold with temperatures up to 200˚C to prevent freezing.
The quick release cam operated tool block of our plastic molding press will accept low cost tool inserts machined to any shape. This is the ideal solution for creating samples from the same material with minimal wastage and time.
Our small injection molding machine can be supplied with tool inserts to suit any international standard. From ASTM to ISO and DIN – whether you want tensile dumbbells, color plaques or impact bars – we can help. Plus if you need samples that can’t be easily molded within the standard tool block, then talk to us about the specialized tooling blocks we can offer.
The unique interchangeable cylinder liner and die assembly of our plastic molding press enables you to change from one color or material to another in just a few seconds, increasing production and eliminating the need for purging.
Simply remove one cylinder liner and replace it with a fresh one. Next, wait for it to reach temperature, fill the liner with your new material and continue the molding process. Multiple molds can be made saving time and reducing wastage.
Check out the neat and compact design of our small injection molding machine. It’s perfect for vertical bench mounting.
