  • Print-Surf Calibration Verification – With Backing Assembly (PPTETB85): our comprehensive calibration option which includes the backing assembly—an essential component of the system that may require replacement over time. This ensures both the instrument, and its mechanical interface are fully supported and up to standard.
  • Print-Surf Calibration Verification – Without Backing Assembly (PBTETB85): for regular calibration checks when the backing assembly is still in good condition. A reliable, cost-effective option that ensures precise Parker Print Surf roughness results.

Traceability: The standards were evaluated on a master instrument. This instrument was manufactured in strict conformance with TAPPI T555 and ISO 8791-4. The flow system of this instrument was calibrated using master flow restrictors with direct traceability to NIST. The PPS values are directly traceable to ISO Standardized Laboratory standards and are also referenced against internal master.
