The STANNOMetal 9000 is the latest generation of our popular STANNOMATIC metal thickness gauge range. It features high-tech electrolytic / coulometric hardware and software so you get the best in computerized tin coating testing.
Unique in its class, this is the first tin and chrome coating thickness gauge to provide accurate tin coating thickness analysis using a powerful Windows TM operating system. Previously this was only found with a coulometer operating through a DOS system.
Just insert a tinplate or TFS (tin free steel) sample into the cell and we do the rest. First the electrolytic fluid fills the cell, which is then closed off. Next, the measurement commences. Once the tin coating is completely deplated the included software presents the measurement results for the tin, alloy and total coating thickness.
Compliant to the stringent requirements of several international certifications, our metal thickness gauge contains preset ASTM A630, EURONORM, ISO, and BSI standards. We like to make your life easy, so you can even add custom standards to work towards.
The STANNOMetal 9000 tin and chrome coating metal thickness gauge creates profiles for each tin coating thickness measurement. Zoom in, or out, of the data and modify it as you see fit. You can then follow up with the next coulometer measurement using a new standard.
