This disc is specifically calibrated for hardness testing within the Barcol range 87-89. It ensures precise results when measuring material hardness, especially in coatings and metal testing applications.
Used in combination with the 43-48 disc, it allows for the iterative process needed to achieve optimum readings and accuracy. If optimal readings are not obtained, it may indicate that the indenter point requires replacement.
