Double seam images are automatically measured in high-resolution; out-of-spec readings are highlighted directly on the double seam; SPC graphs are displayed with the double seam.
Our goal was to automatically measure 95% of all double seams placed on the Video Seam Imager; however, trials on our auto SEAMview inspection software indicate an even higher percentage. Intensive testing by an outside source resulted in a repeatability and reproducibility value of less than 5%! – Under 10% is considered to be excellent.
Our automatic measurement software means less operation intervention and results in higher accuracy.
