Automated paper burst testing

The Technidyne PROFILE/Plus® Burst automatically measures top or bottom side Burst. Fully-automated measurement of top or bottom side Burst. Includes paper feed for automated profile testing.

Two model configurations are available depending on testing requirements: one for top-side burst testing and one for bottom-side burst testing. Individual instruments do not include both testing capabilities in a single unit.

Designed for paper mills, packaging manufacturers and quality control laboratories, the PROFILE/Plus® Burst helps teams evaluate burst strength quickly and consistently across production batches.

Automated burst testing helps reduce operator variability, improve testing efficiency and support reliable quality assurance processes for paper and board products.

The system is also available with either a paper diaphragm or a board diaphragm configuration, allowing manufacturers to select the most suitable setup based on the materials being tested.
