Ray-Ran Ohaus Adventurer Weighing Balance

Adventurer AX gives routine QC laboratories the best of both worlds: touchscreen operation, traceable data output, and dependable everyday weighing performance, without paying for automation most routine testing does not need. 

Configurations

Semi-micro: 0.01 mg readability with 82 g and 220 g capacities. Stainless steel pan on an Ø 80 mm platform. Glass draftshield with two-piece top-mounted side doors and a sliding top door. 

Analytical: 0.1 mg readability with capacities up to 320 g. Stainless steel pan on an Ø 90 mm platform. 

Precision: 1 mg through 0.1 g readability with capacities up to 12 kg on the high-capacity model. Stainless steel pan across platform sizes from Ø 130 mm on 1 mg models to 175 mm x 195 mm on the high-capacity model. 

Interface and applications

A 4.3-inch full-color VGA touchscreen and six mechanical buttons keep operator training short. RS-232, USB Host, and USB Device interfaces send GLP/GMP-compliant data with a real-time clock. Applications on-instrument include weighing in 17 units plus a custom unit, parts counting, percentage weighing, check weighing, animal and dynamic weighing, totalization and statistics, formulation, density determination, display hold, and batch printing. The interface supports up to 9 operating languages, with selectable environmental filters and user-definable project and user IDs. 

Sub-variants: Standard, /M, and /E

Three sub-variants across each tier let you match the balance to the job: 

Standard AX: includes AutoCal internal calibration. The balance calibrates itself automatically whenever it detects temperature drift, so operators spend less time on manual calibrations and there is less chance of an out-of-spec reading between calibration intervals. 

AX/M (EC Type Approved): adds EC type approval on top of the standard specification for legal-for-trade and prescribed applications. Verification interval (e) is stated in the full spec sheet. 

AX/E (Economy): removes AutoCal to hit a lower price point where manual span calibration is acceptable. Same touchscreen and application set as standard. Available on analytical and precision only (no Economy semi-micro variant).
