Brought to you from TQC Sheen, our specialist paint testing brand, our digital drying time recorder follows the Beck Koller (BK) method.
They say that watching paint dry is boring, but not with our BK drying time recorder! With a broad time range, you can measure everything from nail polish, to wall paint, to adhesives, to waterborne coatings.
Unique to the industry, our TQC drying time recorder can perform tests as low as -20°C and as high as +70°C (non-condensing). This makes it possible to perform tests in climate chambers.
It features a lubricant-free drive system so there’s no risk of them impairing your results by thickening at lower temperatures. Plus the heated display allows for enhanced menu visibility at lower temperatures.
Set the time range from anything from one minute up to 200 hours. This makes our drying time recorder suitable for both fast drying waterborne coatings as well as very slow drying paints that need days to dry.
The clear-glass front panel of our BK drying time recorder is easy to clean and protects the display underneath. You get crystal clear results with the digital display and intuitive interface.
Our BK drying time recorder features six tracks and comes with two robust and reusable glass beds. Or as an option you can select a version with six narrow glass beds in special adapters.
When you need to prove your findings to international standards, our compact BK drying time recorder is just what you need. It’s compliant with many international standards including ASTM D5895, ISO 9117-4 and DIN EN 14022.

Our BK drying time recorder may be robust in design, but it’s important to keep that the instrument is sensitive. To keep your solution secure, make sure you never drop it, do not operate in direct sunlight or strong overhead lighting, do not store in relative humidity environments, and ensure operating personnel are all informed before any maintenance or repair work begins.
