Brought to you by TQC Sheen, our specialist testing brand, this robust, portable dewpoint meter is relied upon across the coatings, construction, building maintenance, marine, and steel production industries.
It’s a handheld dewpoint meter that measures relative humidity (%RH), ambient temperature (Ta), and surface temperature (Ts). In addition, it calculates the dewpoint temperature (Td) and the difference between the calculated dewpoint temperature and the measured surface temperature. By providing these measurements in a single handheld instrument, the DewCheck 4 Series 2 helps inspectors quickly assess environmental conditions before coating application or surface treatment begins, supporting more informed quality control decisions.
Our dewpoint meter’s high-end industrial humidity and temperature sensors, combined with a two-year traceable calibration certificate supplied as standard, give operators confidence in the consistency of their measurements without the need for frequent recalibration.
Coating applied when surface temperature is too close to dewpoint risks adhesion failure, blistering and premature corrosion – conditions the DewCheck 4 Series 2 helps identify before application begins.
A single instrument covering humidity, ambient temperature, surface temperature and dewpoint reduces the number of tools an inspector needs on site and minimises the risk of measurement gaps.
Compliance with ISO 8502-4 and ASTM D3276-07 ensures inspection records meet the requirements of coating specifications and project quality documentation.
Your DewCheck 4 meter communicates effortlessly with your PC and the Ideal Finish Analysis software via the USB cable that’s supplied as standard.
Our Ideal Finish Analysis software gives you complete control over your collected DewCheck data with user-friendly reporting functions for standard production work and advanced calculations for in-depth analysis, while detailed graphic representations and custom reports support better decision-making. Download the Ideal Finish software here. Digital reporting also makes it easier to maintain inspection records, analyse trends and share results with colleagues or customers.
Compatible with a range of international standards including ISO 8502-4, ASTM D3276-05, BS 7079-B4. Supporting recognised industry standards helps inspectors carry out environmental measurements with confidence and consistency.
Supplied in a robust and ergonomic leather pouch to protect against damage from daily use.
