The CureView Gradient Oven from TQC Sheen offers high quality thermal stability testing, paint curing and more.
The CureView Gradient Oven is a flexible oven that allows the user to heat up test panels on a glass bed to a variety of temperature profiles, varying from 5 degrees above ambient to 250°C / 9 °F above ambient to 482 °F. No pre-heating is required and the oven is both user programmable and very easy to use.
It can be used for performing thermal tests and simulations on samples for the evaluation of a variety of things, including thermal stability, flow behavior, chemical resistance and sample preparation for further testing. It is also useful for paint curing and can be used to determine how resistant paints and varnishes are to liquids, making it a favorite for automobile QA testing.
Elevated temperatures are instantly generated by 32 spectral filtered IR halogen heaters, which can be controlled individually and allow the setting of any form of temperature gradient, varying from a parabolic shaped gradient, an ascending or descending slope or a number of temperature blocks.
The CureView Gradient Oven allows importing of gradient profiles, measured by our CurveX oven logger system in order to simulate the production process on laboratory scale. It also makes use of TQC Sheen Ideal Finish Analysis software, which offers user friendly reporting functions for standard production work as well as more advanced modes when necessary.
With 32 individually controlled IR-heaters, the CureView has a system capable of offering researchers and quality control personnel a way to test coatings, raw materials and chemicals at a range of different temperatures in one simple step. It features two-button operation for the ultimate in simplicity as well as being user programmable, via a laptop or other device.
The CureView can perform the ISO 2812-5 method for testing the chemical resistance of vanishings and paints without the need for manual placement of the sample. What’s more, the built in safety features prevent the possibility of overheating, making it a smart choice for testing ink and coating samples.
