Lever Action wedge grips are used for medium to high capacity tensile testing applications.
The A-series family of products consist of several models including A-01-2.5KN, A-01-20KN, A-20, A-30 and A-60 models
Models are selected based on capacity requirements, sample width or diamater.
A-60 Grips:
Max Capacity: 300 kN
Jaw Width: 2″ (25 mm)
Max Jaw Opening: 3/4″ (19 mm)
Jaw inserts are selected based on sample dimensions (width and thickness) and shape (flat or round).
A-60W grips open wider can test flat samples up to 1.5″ (38 mm), round samples up to 1.5″ (38 mm)
The quick release adapter makes it easy to change between grips on United's Universal Test Machines.
