Brought to you by TMI Büchel , our paper and flexible packaging testing specialist brand, the Lab Master Release & Adhesion Tester 80-91 was built to meet a wide variety of stringent international standards including ASTM, FINAT and TLMI.
Our adhesion tester quickly and accurately measures the peeling strength of pressure sensitive adhesives and the release strength of labels.
The Lab Master adhesion tester offers you the following three load cell force range options:
Our adhesion tester offers a variety of testing speeds. It’s infinitely variable from 2 to 1500 inches (5.0-3,810 centimeters) per minute.
The Lab Master Release & Adhesion Tester 80-91 accommodates samples up to 2 inches (5 cm) wide with a maximum peeling length of 12 inches (30 cm).
The adhesion testing methods are user-defined, saved and selected through a PC- based touch screen display operating under Windows® based application software.
This adhesion test software gives you the ability to create user-defined test set-ups, individual test speed selection, user-definable default areas for analysis and enhanced calibration. It’s an easy to read adhesion testing system as the test data visually represents the characteristics of the peel.
The Lab Master Release & Adhesion Tester 80-91 was designed to support adhesion testing to meet a multitude of international and industry standards, including:
Our adhesion tester is relied upon to test a wide range of materials including adhesives, aluminum, film, foil, paper, plastics and polymers. You can inspect all types of products made from these materials including tape, pressure-sensitive labels, release paper, blister packs, closures, medical products, seals and security labels.
The simple calibration set-up of our adhesion tester allows hanging calibration weights directly from the load cell and no pulleys are necessary.
The Lab Master Release & Adhesion Tester 80-91 was created harnessing insight gained over decades of experience in the field of adhesion testing. We’ve used this experience to design and manufacture a wide range of adhesion testers and accessories.

Poor calibration services → Selected Industrial Physics as a service partner → Superior service achieved! ✓
Proper calibration of your inspection devices is essential for a long and accurate life of service. A leading pet food manufacturer discovered this when shoddy servicing created a raft of problems with their burst and creep testing equipment.
Our experts quickly identified and rectified the pre-existing problems. Now, they’re delighted to rely upon a trusted test and inspection partner with Industrial Physics.
Scott Chambers, Quality Technician at Mars Inc., said,
“I was very happy to be one of the first companies to participate in the mobile calibration program. Ryan Moreno was my technician and was very personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The calibrations he performed were very efficient. I like having a technician on site one on one to answer any question I had. Also, not having to ship my BT-Integra units was a major plus. looking forward to future visits at Mars Petcare KKC.”
