ResetThe Falling Weight Tester is used to determine the energy required to break or rupture test specimens from Pipe, Sheet, Laminates, Composites, Ceramics, and can comply to various international standards such as ISO6603, ISO3127, ASTM D2444.
Elmendorf Tear testing determines the force required to continue the tearing of an initial cut in sheet materials such as paper, plastic film, textile and non-woven. We have an option available to mount the Spencer Impact attachment (method ASTM D 3420) on the Elmendorf Tear Tester.
The Ray-Ran FDA2 dart tester features advanced drop dart technology in an affordable machine that’s built for accuracy, safety, and ease of use. It adheres to multiple international testing standards including ASTM D1709 and ASTM D4272.
The Ray-Ran Bench mounted model will test to ASTM D1709 method A, and with the addition of the extension pack will also test to Method B. It is a basic model and does not come with a microprocessor or LCD display.
When you need to produce stress-concentrating notch profiles in Charpy and Izod Impact specimens, look no further than our industry-leading Auto Cycle Notching Cutter.
The Pendulum Tester uses microprocessor technology to determine the energy required to break or rupture specimens in plastic or ceramics. The apparatus can test Izod , Charpy or Tension Impact , as well as carry out small diameter pipe testing and component Impact & Puncture tests
An easy-to-use pendulum tester designed to help you determine the hardness of a variety of inks and coatings. Capable of carrying out both König and/or Persoz methods, the TQC Sheen Pendulum Hardness Tester is a robust modular system.
Spencer Impact Attachment
Drop Dart or Falling Dart Impact Tester is a a simple to use stand-alone machine, for measuring the impact resistance of plastics film, sheet, and laminated materials to ASTM D4272.
The Ray-Ran Manual Advanced Falling Dart Impact Tester provides simpler method for determining the energy that causes thin flexible materials such as plastic film, paper and composite sheets to fail under specified conditions of impact from a free-falling dart.
The Instrumented Falling Weight Impact Tester uses strain gauged loadcells for force measurement and velocity sensors at the point of impact to provide a wide array of real-time data. This includes graphical representation of force, velocity, energy, time and displacement data that provides an in-depth understanding of the test sample’s reaction to the impact event. Conforms to standards including ASTM D7136, D3763-02 and ISO 6603 with variable drop heights up to 1m, 2m and 3.35m available.
The Ray-Ran tupDAQ Impact Data Logger System converts a drop tower machine into a sophisticated Instrumented Impact Machine. This system is an excellent upgrade for your existing instrumented impact DAQ system.
