United-branded products are now part of Industrial Physics’ Materials Testing segment, which, along with Ray-Ran products, offers a complete portfolio of solutions to customers requiring a versatile range of physical testing equipment.

“United’s universal testing machines, hardness testers and related services add an important core capability to Industrial Physics,” said Jim Neville, CEO of Industrial Physics. “United has a successful history of providing high quality instruments and services that have delighted customers for decades. By adding United to our family of brands, we continue to strengthen our position as a leading provider of material and physical property testing instrumentation.”

“Industrial Physics is a wonderful home for United and we couldn’t be happier to be joining its family of companies,” said Thomas Settimi, general manager of United. “The quality and passion that we put into our instrumentation and services have been a cornerstone of our company and we are excited to see that commitment to customers continue under Industrial Physics.”
