Industrial Physics Acquires Sheen Instruments Ltd.

Industrial Physics, a leader in package and product integrity test instrumentation and services, has purchased Sheen Instruments Ltd.*, a manufacturer of lab equipment to test and inspect surface and adhesion properties of paint and coatings. Sheen-branded products are now part of Industrial Physics’ Inks & Coatings segment, which, along with C&W Specialist Equipment Ltd. and Fibro System products, offers a complete portfolio of solutions to customers requiring paint, coatings and surface analysis testing.

“We are very excited to add Sheen Instruments to the Industrial Physics portfolio,” said Remco Wever, president of Inks & Coatings. “We view the testing of paint, inks and coatings as an attractive adjacency and complement to our current instrumentation offering.”

“Industrial Physics is a wonderful home for Sheen, and we couldn’t be happier to be joining its family of brands,” said Mark Arnold, General Manager of Sheen Instruments Ltd. “All of Industrial Physics is devoted to providing advanced equipment to help customers achieve high quality standards. We believe Industrial Physics will help support Sheen’s strong position in the market.”
