Industrial Physics operates in a total of 75 countries, each of which has different standards institutes that produce varying national quality testing standards. And within our portfolio you will find products and services that comply with most of them. Some of the major national standards we work towards include: Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) – the German national organization for standardization, with more than 30,000 DIN Standards, American National Standards Institute (ANSI) – the American body that oversees the development of voluntary consensus standards for products, services, processes, and systems. Nederlands Normalisatie-instituut (NEN) – the Royal Netherlands Standardization Institute manages over 31,000 standards. Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) – the standardization process of industrial activities in Japan are coordinated by the Japanese Industrial Standard Committee and published through the Japanese Standards Association.
