He’s a customer relations specialist – and he describes himself as “service-obsessed”. For Ed, this means sticking to your word. He recognizes the importance of following through on our promises and going above and beyond to help people, whatever the challenge may be.
Ed has extensive experience working in cross-functional and global roles. This includes senior leadership positions of profitable teams. But whatever the role, Ed has always had a sharp eye on customer loyalty and employee engagement.
A lead-by-example practitioner of Lean Six Sigma, he is process focused and understands the end-to-end customer life cycle. Equally, he understands the intricacies of industries that we work in. For example, as Director of Services for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s laboratory equipment division, he led the global integration and transformation of all services.
As Services Director for Apex Tool Group, Ed headed up services and after-sales operations to the Americas. In this senior role he optimized service sales and marketing, launched a new services development program, and improved the aftermarket pipeline and margins.
We take a proactive approach to customer service by nature. But as our leader in service, Ed ensures that we are always helpful and never intrusive. On hand, personable, and eager to support you when you need us, but never seeking to take over.
