Glove boxes are designed for handling both hazardous substances and atmosphere sensitive materials.

 

In a controlled atmosphere, nitrogen dry boxes provide an isolated work environment for processing samples or handling air-sensitive materials. At the same time as maintaining an anaerobic, or other gas specific environment, within the glove box.

When you work with hazardous materials you can’t risk any leaks. So the glove box provides a leak-tight environment to protect you and others from exposure to potentially dangerous materials.
