Das motorbetriebene Ger\u00e4t nutzt das Totgewichtsmikrometerprinzip f\u00fcr hohe Genauigkeit und Wiederholbarkeit. Die Konstruktion des Modells 49-86 besteht aus einem schweren, soliden Rahmen, der das Ger\u00e4t tr\u00e4gt und das reflektierende Linear-Encoder sowie die zugeh\u00f6rigen Schaltkreise aufnimmt.
